RN/LPN Position at The Springs at Whitefish

The Springs at Whitefish is hiring an RN/LPN to support our health services department. Together, our Health Services team coordinates and manages assisted living resident care services in accordance with state administrative rules and community-based care requirements in alignment with State Board of Nursing standards of practice.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all responsibilities related to RN delegation of nursing tasks
• Assists with the initial screening of residents or delegates appropriately
• Monitors physician orders/laboratory results and assures correct implementation
• Monitors alert charting, especially to ensure appropriate employee response to issues and to determine the need for an RN assessment
• Monitors and addresses consulting pharmacy reports
• Monitors resident incident reports
• Advises health services employees concerning resident health issues
• Assesses residents as necessary, addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual issues
• Assists in the development of service plans, assuring health service issues, as well as other service issues that potentially impact upon health, are effectively addressed
• Attends service plan meetings as necessary
• Assures compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to health services
• Performs all new resident assessments

Qualifications:

• RN/LPN License
• Love for seniors and the ability to put residents first
• Organized and effective in keeping track of multiple deadlines
• Good judgment and professional maturity
• Ability to lead in an industry of constant change
• Strong computer skills
• Successful employee management experience
