Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living
• Engage with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic patient care
• Coach Patients and Caregivers: Provide education on therapy techniques that encourage continuous improvement at home
• Evaluate Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patient success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
