Electrical Engineer

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Plant Engineering Department supporting Operations, Maintenance, and Facilities teams . The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills , effective communication skills , and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay Range: $56 - $64 Hr

What's the Job?

• Plan, design, and implement electrical systems and plant infrastructure projects

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to facility equipment and utilities

• Support and maintain systems such as HVAC, boilers, electrical distribution, and life safety systems

• Manage and coordinate engineering projects with internal teams and external contractors

• Improve energy efficiency of manufacturing systems and infrastructure

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent) with 5+ years of plant/facility engineering experience

• Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NFPA) and NFPA 70E standards

• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools

• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings, prints, and schematics

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving skills
