Volunteer Program Manager (Boone and Dallas Counties)

Position Description The Volunteer Program Manager is a full-timeposition with benefits, including IPERS, responsible for leading and expandingHIRTA's volunteer program in service of older adults, veterans, and individualswith disabilities. Primary responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate is passionate aboutworking with volunteers and the communities HIRTA serves. Valid Drivers license required to use HIRTA vehicles for necessary travel.

Pay: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 per YEAR
- Recruiting, onboarding, and retaining volunteers and volunteer centers through active community outreach
- Supervising a Program Coordinator and providing ongoing program leadership
- Collecting, reviewing, and reporting program statistics
- Processing mileage reimbursement claims and ensuring program compliance, including maintaining current volunteer documentation
- Supporting marketing and community education efforts to promote HIRTA's services
- Participating in regular manager-staff meetings
- Maintaining a person-centered approach in all interactions with the HIRTA team, community partners, and volunteers
