Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and Epic charting proficiency to join a hospital-based rehabilitation center.

Outpatient rehabilitation center setting adjacent to a medical campus

Schedule is Monday through Friday, either 5 days a week (8-hour shifts) or 4 days a week (10-hour shifts), with facility hours from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

No weekend or holiday requirements

Patient ratio of 1:2 with a population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required

BLS certification required

NJ PT license or NJ Compact Privilege required (license required if applicable)

Experience across acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility settings

Skilled in orthopedic rehab including body mechanics, cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery, spinal conditions, and total hip/knee replacement

Skilled in neurologic rehab including cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury

Experience providing home exercise programs and patient/family education

Part of a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation center offering physical, occupational, speech, stroke, hand, and neurological rehabilitation services

Flu vaccine required, with religious and medical exemptions accepted; unvaccinated candidates must wear a mask

Any color scrubs accepted

Open to first-time travelers

Local candidates accepted at the same rate
