Job Summary and Qualifications The Monitor Technician is responsible for equipment setup and continuous cardiac observation of telemetry patients at a centralized station. Telemetry Techs are passionate about ensuring an exceptional patient experience and committed to caring like family. Responsibilities Set up telemetry equipment for new admissions according to established procedures. Interpret and document rhythm strips at regular intervals. Report any cardiac arrhythmias or rhythm changes to the primary nurse. Report changes in pulse oximetry data to the primary nurse. Assist in maintaining telemetry supplies. Qualifications Applicant must successfully complete the monitor technician credentialing process within the first three weeks of employment.
