We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of RF and Mechanical Engineers supporting advanced aerospace and defense technologies. This individual will oversee product development, engineering operations, and team performance while partnering cross-functionally to drive innovation, customer success, and long-term business growth.

Description

• Lead and develop a team of RF and Mechanical Engineers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative engineering organization.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for both new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives.
• Partner with business development and sales teams to establish technology roadmaps aligned with customer and market needs.
• Drive the design, enhancement, and maintenance of advanced RF and microwave products and systems.
• Allocate engineering resources across multiple projects to ensure successful execution of business priorities.
• Manage engineering operating budgets, including IR&D, sustaining engineering, and customer-funded development programs.
• Establish and maintain engineering processes, design standards, and best practices to support quality and efficiency.
• Monitor industry and technology trends to inform product strategy and organizational capabilities.
• Serve as a key technical representative to customers, supporting business development activities and technical discussions.
• Support proposal development, project planning, engineering estimates, and program cost assessments.
• Promote a culture focused on innovation, accountability, employee development, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to achieve operational and strategic business objectives.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline required.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in RF design preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering experience within aerospace, defense, or related high-technology industries.
• Prior leadership experience managing engineering teams and technical development programs.
• Strong understanding of RF passive component design, simulation, and engineering best practices.
• Experience supporting military, space, and commercial aerospace programs and standards.
• Proven ability to lead employee development, team building, and performance management initiatives.
• Strong project management, organizational, and resource planning skills.
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to support technical discussions and business growth initiatives.
• Eligibility to obtain authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information in accordance with ITAR requirements.
