Travel Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Function - $2,234 per week

Position TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Durham, North Carolina. Job Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 hours Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care, including evaluations and treatments following procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to the director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Physical and Other Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 20 pounds comfortably. Lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required at times. Must have specific visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. Certifications BLS RRT ACLS NBRC Minimum 2 Years Additional Information TotalMed Allied Job ID #1426498.
