Intake Specialist LHH is currently recruiting an Intake Specialist to join a mission-driven team in Indianapolis. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire role. Pay: $21.63/hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Location: Indianapolis - Fully onsite (no remote option) Type: Contract-to-hire About the Role: This position is all about connection and support. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, helping them navigate services, complete applications, and get the assistance they need. It's a great opportunity to make a real impact while building your customer service skills. What You'll Be Doing: Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy Schedule appointments and assist clients with completing applications Review forms for accuracy and completeness Perform light data entry and general office support Copy and organize client documents (IDs, leases, utility bills, etc.) Operate basic office equipment like copiers and scanners Help prepare case files and mail notices Support caseworkers with documentation and file management What We're Looking For: Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working with diverse populations, including those with limited English Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with care Bilingual in Spanish is preferred Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply
