  • Shift: Day Shift, 3x 13-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM), no nights
  • Hours/week: 39 hours
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Licenses/Certifications: MA License, BC in Neurosurgery required
  • Experience: 1+ year neuro experience preferred
  • Procedures: Inpatient neurosurgery rounding, patient management, discharge planning, order entry
  • Additional Skills: Ability to remove drains (hemovac / JP drains) preferred
Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $151.32/hr
  • Pay package discussed upon application

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with neurosurgery residents during daily rounds on adult inpatient cases
  • Manage patient plans, review and document orders, and coordinate discharge
  • Evaluate patients needing consultation or further evaluation
  • Assist with patient care activities within hospital protocols
  • Document patient interactions in Epic EMR
  • Support discharge planning and care coordination
  • Follow facility protocols for drain removal and patient assessments
What You Need
Required:

  • MA State License
  • Board Certification in Neurosurgery (BC)
  • Minimum of 1 year neuro-related clinical experience
  • Ability to perform drain removal (preferred)
  • Good communication and patient care skills
Preferred:
  • Experience working in hospital inpatient neurosurgery units
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR
  • Strong team collaboration skills
