Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer Overview As a DevOps engineer, you will set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks to support our clients as they modernize IT infrastructures and meet critical missions. You will work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions and apply a DevOps framework to provision virtual machines, networks, and cloud services for our government clients. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Configure and harden servers and networks in accordance with DoD security standards and STIG requirements. Write and maintain infrastructure code and automation scripts using Bash, Ansible, or YAML, and manage deployment pipelines. Collaborate with security and operations teams to ensure continuous compliance and reliability. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems 3+ years of experience with Linux operating systems and command‑line interfaces Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience hardening government systems following STIG requirements HS diploma or GED Desired Qualifications Experience deploying and managing containers using Kubernetes or Docker Experience provisioning cloud infrastructure using Terraform Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence) Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering concepts Bachelor's degree Security Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is required. Compensation Salary range: $62,000 – $141,000 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and contract‑specific requirements.
