Quick Facts Location: Rowlett, TX Start Date: 07/23/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/Per diem Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts Hours/Week: Variable (based on scheduling) Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certifications: TX Medical License, DEA, and board certification in OB/GYN or related specialty Experience: Preferred minimum 2 years in obstetrics/gynecology hospitalist role Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50/hour Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws What You’ll Do Provide inpatient OB/GYN consultation and management, including triage and admissions Attend deliveries and assist with cesarean sections Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to emergencies during labor and delivery Collaborate with neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk cases Conduct GYN emergency consultations and inpatient care Cover the OB floor and assist with surgical procedures as needed Support private call coverage and contribute to a team-focused, patient-centered environment What You Need Required: Valid Texas medical license Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Current DEA and state-specific certifications At least 2 years of hospital-based OB/GYN experience Preferred: Experience in obstetric emergency response and high-risk pregnancy management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and clinical skills About the Assignment This position is with a leading facility in Rowlett, TX, partnership with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center, delivering OB hospitalist services to the Dallas suburban community. Shifts are 24 hours in-house with a focus on inpatient obstetric care, including deliveries and emergency response.
