The Grove Artisan Cafe and Bakery
BaristaThe Barista plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment. You will work in a fast-paced setting focused on consistency, cleanliness, and hospitality. Full barista training is provided for the right candidates.Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation:Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and other cafe offerings according to recipes and standards.Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and efficiency during peak hours.Learn and follow all brewing, steaming, and pouring techniques.Customer Service:Greet guests with warmth and professionalism.Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations.Handle orders and payments accurately using POS (Square).Cleanliness & Organization:Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area throughout the shift.Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies as needed.Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists.Teamwork & Culture:Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.Support kitchen and front-of-house operations as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 2 year of general work experience (in any industry).Must possess a valid Arizona Food Handler's Card (or obtain before first shift).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
