Middle School Math Teacher

LRUEMSD is seeking innovative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher(s) to join our team at Brownington Community School (anticipated) as well as somebody to join Glover Community School for the upcoming 26-27 school year. This position involves teaching math to students in grades 5-8, fostering a love for mathematics, and supporting students in developing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, able to differentiate instruction, and eager to contribute to a positive, collaborative classroom environment. The ideal candidate will: *Demonstrate knowledge of subject area standards, middle school students, instructional best practices, and technology integration *Possess a middle level teaching license in math *Measure student performance through a variety of assessment methods and in-depth data analysis *Use standards-based instruction and assessment based on the Common Core and NGSS *Have experience with proficiency-based learning *Provide appropriate engaging learning experiences based upon the needs, interests, abilities and learning styles of the students *Incorporate technology creatively in the learning process *Possess strong communication and collaboration skills *Value working closely with a team of adults to provide a high quality education for students *Be committed to continuously improving practices in order to best serve our students, teachers and communities.
