As a Shift Manager, you'll be instrumental in getting our new store off to a successful start. From training our founding team of associates to establishing operational standards and creating memorable guest experiences, you'll help lay the foundation for long-term success. What You'll Do As a Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for leading your team and ensuring every shift meets Andy's high standards for quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Help Launch Our New Store Play a key role in preparing our McAllen location for a successful grand opening. Help train and develop our opening team of associates. Establish strong operational routines and reinforce Andy's standards from day one. Help create a positive, energetic, and team‑oriented culture that sets our new store up for success. Lead and Develop Your Team Lead by example while working alongside your team in daily operations. Train, coach, and motivate associates to deliver their best performance. Remain calm, professional, and solution‑oriented during busy shifts. Provide consistent feedback and help team members develop their skills. Build a workplace where employees feel supported, respected, and excited to come to work. Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience Ensure every guest receives friendly, fast, and exceptional service. Maintain the highest standards for frozen custard quality, presentation, and consistency. Resolve guest concerns professionally and create positive experiences. Lead your team in delivering the hospitality Andy's is known for. Execute Daily Operations Manage opening and closing procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant. Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational standards are consistently followed. Support efficient shift execution, team communication, and daily store performance. Take ownership of your shift and lead with a sense of urgency and accountability. What We're Looking For We're looking for leaders who are ready to roll up their sleeves, take initiative, and help build something great! Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Minimum 6 months of management or leadership experience in food service or a related industry. High school diploma or equivalent required. Friendly, enthusiastic, dependable, and positive attitude. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills. Ability to lead by example in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. Passion for coaching, training, and developing others. Commitment to exceptional guest service and high operational standards. Reliable transportation to and from work. Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, late nights, and some holidays. Consistent employment history and positive professional references. Previous restaurant leadership experience is preferred, but we're especially interested in individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands‑on leadership position. Shift Managers must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 55 pounds safely. Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout shifts. Occasionally use ladders, stairs, and ramps. Operate point‑of‑sale systems and restaurant equipment. Communicate clearly with guests and team members. Perform tasks requiring near and distance vision.
