Finance Application Analyst- Green Brick Partners

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Application Analyst to join our dynamic Business Applications Team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial systems, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of implementing and maintaining financial applications. This role will be responsible for overseeing the administration, enhancement, and support of finance-related applications to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities Serve as the subject matter expert for finance-related applications, including ERP systems, financial planning and analysis tools, and other financial software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for system enhancements and new implementations. Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of finance applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards. Develop and maintain documentation, including system procedures, user guides, and training materials. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for finance applications, addressing issues, and resolving user inquiries in a timely manner. Conduct regular system audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in finance and IT to recommend innovative solutions and process improvements. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate, select, and implement new software solutions as needed. Location: Must be based in Plano, Texas. Hybrid remote schedule available. Travel as needed. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance application support, implementation, or administration. Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Newstar, or similar ERP platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights. Experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design. Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles. Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and data visualization tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
