Job Description
Join a 13-week travel assignment as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. You will work 12-hour mid shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, supporting a regional referral and tertiary care setting that serves a broad patient population. This role includes IV starts, triage, telemetry, and floating between the Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health based on operational needs.
The assignment welcomes first-time travelers and requires at least two years of experience, along with ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, and MOAB certifications. Weekend coverage is required, with a minimum of four weekend days per six-week period and the possibility of working every other weekend. You will use EPIC, Pyxis, SBAR, and daily shift huddles, complete 24 hours of orientation, and pass an EKG test before beginning the assignment. Please note that block scheduling is not available and approved time off cannot be added after booking.
