Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Manager at Safran Electronics & Defense Actuation, you will oversee, coordinate, and measure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and finished products. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth supply chain operation, compliance to Export and Trade Regulations, and timely delivery of goods to our customers worldwide. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and managing the day-to-day logistics activities, coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, monitoring and analyzing logistics KPIs, developing and implementing improved logistics strategies to optimize processes, costs, and timelines, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, managing logistics documentation, customs clearance, and related administrative tasks, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects within the supply chain, processing shipping transactions in SAP, troubleshooting and resolving transactional and documentation issues, and supervising 1 or more Logistics Coordinators.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field; 5+ years proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution management, ideally within the aerospace or industrial sector; proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes; strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent communication and leadership abilities; strong working knowledge of ERP(SAP) systems; strong working knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel. Preferred: Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus; previous export experience preferred.

The role requires sitting for extended periods, occasional standing, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Clear vision for detailed work is needed, and the environment is generally quiet.
