Bailiff Part Time Gary, IN, US JOB DESCRIPTION: Communicate effectively with court staff, attorneys, judges, and defendants Maintain safety and order in the courtroom Call the court to order Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the police department, lake county prosecutor’s Office, and Clerk’s Office Handle evidence and court documents Escort jurors, witnesses, and prisoners Other duties assigned QUALIFICATIONS: College degree preferred, an associate degree is acceptable Must be a Lake County resident Must have knowledge and training in security procedures Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable #J-18808-Ljbffr
