Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate with over three years of experience to join their team in Boise, Idaho. The successful candidate will work on innovative projects in the renewable energy sector, collaborating with clients across the nation to advance clean energy initiatives. Duties Collaborate with clients on renewable energy projects from inception to completion. Draft and negotiate project development and finance agreements. Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and commercial contracts. Provide legal support for power purchase and equipment supply agreements. Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in a law firm setting. Experience in project development, finance, and commercial contracts. Preferred experience in the renewable energy industry. Strong written and oral communication skills. Team-oriented and collaborative approach. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
