As a Dental Hygienist in a small dental practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting routine dental cleanings and promoting oral health education. Reporting directly to the dentist, you will perform patient assessments, ensure infection control, and maintain accurate digital records utilizing dental software. This position offers regular shifts and opportunities to grow within a collaborative dental team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient oral health and hygiene status
- Provide oral hygiene education to patients
- Perform routine dental cleanings
- Take dental radiographs as needed
- Maintain strict infection control protocols
- Accurately maintain patient records using digital dental software
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist License
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in patient care and oral health assessment
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong record keeping skills and familiarity with dental software
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus
