Assistant General manager

Responsibilities:

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel/hospitality operations

Lead, coach, and develop front-line staff to deliver exceptional guest service

Monitor and manage budgets, labor costs, and revenue performance

Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies

Handle guest escalations and resolve complaints with professionalism and efficiency

Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members

Oversee scheduling, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

2+ years of hospitality or hotel management experience required

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

Strong knowledge of front office, food & beverage, or hotel operations

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Experience with property management systems (PMS) preferred

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus
