Unit Information: Location: St. Davids North Austin, Building: Womens Tower, Floor: 3
Number of Beds: 24, Number of Staff: 26, Type of Staff: 1 charge, 4 RNs, 1 clerk during day. No PCTs at night
Patient Ratios: 3:1 and 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on acuity
Type of Equipment: EMR Meditech and CPN
Permanent Positions Available: Yes
Skill Set: Must have: BLS. Preferred: Previous L/D or Ante experience
Typical Procedures: Non stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips, magnesium administration, heparin drips
Best Personality Fit: Teamwork oriented, good communication skills
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
