Job Description
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, start intravenous and administer recommended amount of radio isotope. Performs stress testing, along with a variety of Nuclear Cardiac scanning on outpatients. Completes computer processing and analysis of all test data.
Qualifications
Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. ARRT in Nuclear Medicine (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) required within twelve months of working in that modality. State of New Jersey licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required. Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) granted through the American Heart Association is required within 12 months of hire. IV certification granted through the hospital education department is required within 12 months of hire. Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth experience-based knowledge. Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc." The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
About the Team
St. Joseph's Health officially opened the Totowa Health Campus during a special ceremony that included a ribbon cutting and a blessing by the Most Reverend Kevin Sweeney, Bishop of the Diocese of Paterson. More than 100 people attended the event, including Congressman Bill Pascrell, 9th District of New Jersey; John Coiro, Mayor of Totowa; and Senator Kristen Corrado, of New Jersey's 40th Legislative District.
The new campus, located at 225 Minnisink Road in Totowa, is a 140,000-square-foot facility that integrates a comprehensive listing of outpatient services, including primary and urgent care, diagnostic imaging including MRI and CT, Radiology, Lab Services and Pharmacy all under one roof. A host of medical and surgical physician offices are located on the campus, including cardiology, urology and gynecology, along with specialty Centers including Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. This fall, the health campus will also be the new home of a Comprehensive Cancer Center opening in October.
