Texas Health Hospital Mansfield operates as a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth. Schedule: PRN

Shift: Call minimum 7 days a month; including 1 weekend and dayshift weekdays as available.

The role you'll contribute:

Performs diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics, in accordance with accepted protocols. This includes but not limited to echocardiogram, transesophageal, stress echocardiogram, pediatric echocardiogram.

• Maintains supply inventory and restocks to maintain proper operating levels
• Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment, while manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures
• Performs routine and complex studies, in addition to assisting with a variety of imaging procedures
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations
• Collects and maintains patient treatment records and data
• Conducts pre-treatment and post-treatment patient evaluations to ensure adequate preparation
• May be required to maintain quality insurance for ICAEL

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• Technical/Vocational School
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Diagnostic Sonographer Credentialing accepted from: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), and Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) OR Echocardiography
• Adult Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) OR Echocardiography-Fetal Fetal Echocardiography (FE) OR Echocardiography Pediatric Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) (RDCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) OR Vascular Ultrasound Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
