Speech Language Pathologist – Warren County Starting $85/hour. Responsibilities Assess and treat people who have communication disorders. Evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty. Identify clients' goals for treatment. Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses specific functional needs. Teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency. Help clients improve vocabulary and sentence structure. Work with clients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow. Counsel clients and their families on how to cope with communication and swallowing disorders. Qualifications Minimum of a Master's Degree. Minimum of two (2) years experience in Child Study field. NJ State Certifications. Experience treating young adult populations. Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting. School based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations. Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings. Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management.
