Specialist I - Grade HH - $18.93 hourly

Specialist II - Grade JJ - $19.79 hourly

Specialist III - Grade LL - $20.70 hourly

Qualifications/Certifications:

RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST I:

EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or equivalent or special diploma.

• One (1) year of progressively responsible work experience in a claim•s management environment or insurance,

legal, risk management or a federal grant project.

RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST II:

EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or equivalent or special diploma.

• Two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience in a claim•s management environment or

insurance, legal, risk management or a federal grant project.

PREFERRED/DESIRED:

• AA/AS Degree from an accredited college or university in insurance, business, legal or similar discipline.

(Successful completion of 48 credit hours in an accredited college or university in insurance, legal, or risk

manage may substitute for one (1) year of the two (2) required years of experience with the recommendation of

the Department Head and the concurrence of Human Resources Management.)

RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST III:

EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED:

• AA/AS Degree from an accredited college or university in insurance, business, legal or similar discipline.

• Three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience in a claim•s management environment or

insurance, legal, risk management or a federal grant project.
