Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Peri-Anesthesia

Schedule: 10-hour shift length, varied start time, includes weekend coverage

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Certified Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) preferred
- Successful completion of prior travel assignments

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgery patients.
- Assist with occasional pre-operative care for gastrointestinal patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.

Compliance / Notes:
- Scrubs provided
- Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions may require floating as needed.
