Job Description This position provides general office support through a variety of clerical and customer-facing responsibilities. The Cashier/Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing callers to the appropriate associate, greeting guests in a professional and friendly manner, keeping office tasks current, and handling customer transactions including payments, receipts, refunds, and change. Key Responsibilities Answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate associate Greet customers and visitors warmly, professionally, and with a smile Provide a high level of professional customer service both in person and over the phone Take and retrieve messages for various personnel Provide callers with general information such as company address, directions, fax numbers, website information, and other related details Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, faxing, and collating Create accounting receipts for sales and finance departments for vehicle deposits and CODs Receive payments by cash, check, credit card, or automatic debit Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers accurately Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front desk and guest waiting area Use computer systems efficiently and accurately to complete daily responsibilities Present oneself in a consistently professional manner and adhere to business dress code expectations Job Requirements Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor Strong proficiency with utilizing computers and learns new platforms quickly Strong communication skills and quality eye-contact Flexibility and punctuality Collaboration skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional presence and attitude Position Information Benefits Eligible, non-exempt, onsite position Professional office setting within a dealership Business dress code Closed Sundays Very Competitive - Hourly Compensation Average of 30 hours weekly, Scheduled evenings starting at 2:30pm, Monday - Friday (one weekly off-day), and 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturdays EEO Statement Sommer's Automotive is an equal opportunity employer.
