Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee resident care, support nursing staff, and help drive clinical excellence throughout our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, team development, and maintaining high clinical standards. What You’ll Do Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit. Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and GNAs. Ensure residents receive exceptional care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans. Monitor documentation, assessments, treatments, and medication administration for accuracy and compliance. Conduct clinical rounds and proactively address resident and family concerns. Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions. Assist with quality assurance, infection prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Investigate incidents, complete follow-up documentation, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident outcomes. Assist with staff education, coaching, and performance improvement. Qualifications Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing. Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience. Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of CMS regulations, Maryland nursing regulations, and standards of nursing practice. CPR Certification required.
