About the Role:

As a Unit Manager (RN), you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and attention. This includes:

• Patient Care: Directly overseeing the care of our patients, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Staff Management: Leading and managing a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants to ensure effective and efficient delivery of care.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborating with our quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Communication: Effectively communicating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct oversight and guidance to nursing staff, advocating for patients' needs and promoting a culture of excellence.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and industry standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing data to drive changes that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Foster collaborative relationships with other departments, including social work, therapy, and dietary services.
