Club Manager

Job Title: Club Manager Reports to: District Manager Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt Job Summary: Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members. Oversee member service to ensure all team members provide outstanding customer service. Perform front‑desk tasks such as greeting members, giving gym tours, and addressing member service issues. Provide support to team members and club members. Create and maintain a positive image for the club. Coach and counsel employees to achieve company standards. Ensure prompt opening and closing of the gym. Ensure staff are aware of and trained on current marketing promotions. Complete manager portions of onboarding in Paycom for all new hires. Ensure the club is open and staffed during all hours of business. Enforce adherence to all company policies and procedures. Order supplies and track inventory. Essential Behavior Requirements Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions. Actively listen to customers and coworkers, empathize, and collaborate to solve problems. Identify, analyze, and propose solutions to problems. Demonstrate diplomacy and tact in all interactions. Maintain timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and departments. Minimum Qualifications Honesty and a strong work ethic. At least one year of managerial experience. Strong customer service skills. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. Basic computer proficiency. Physical Demands Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift. Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift. Lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
