About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years RN experience; 3 years ICU/CCU experience required License: New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Epic experience; ability to float to Med Surg/Tele; travel experience; own vehicle; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Description: Epic experience is required. Include your New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate in your submission to avoid any delays. This license is required to staff for temporary needs. Check the job posting requirements for the 14-panel drug screen and ensure your agency can run this entire panel within 24 hours of offer acceptance. A negative result is required for the following substances: Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine Metabolite, Opiates, Phencyclidine, Methadone, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene, Buprenorphine, and 6-Acetylmorphine. All new and returning agency staff must complete training from specified groups for onboarding and clearance. COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not required. Requested time off must be noted and verified upon submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Dress code includes personal scrubs of any color without designs or cartoons. Please submit only if you can comply with scheduling expectations. Permanent address must be included in the profile and match your driver's license. Travel experience is required. Travelers must have their own vehicle. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A resume, skills checklist, and licenses/certifications (BLS, ACLS) must be current and uploaded with the profile. Certain counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments.
