Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – South Central Texas

Start Date: September 11, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Rotating shifts available (Day shift: 7a, 9a, 11a / Night shift: 7p); 1:4 patient ratio; rotating weekends (4 out of 8 requirement); no on-call

Highlights:

• 8-bed Freestanding Emergency Department setting with a close-knit team of 15 staff members
• Diverse case mix including IV placement, bloodwork, Foley catheterization, breathing treatments, and medication administration
• EMR system: Meditech
• Flexible scheduling with potential to pick up hours at other locations within 25 miles if desired
• Supportive, team-oriented environment focused on compassionate patient care

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas (or eligibility for licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI certifications
• Meditech experience preferred
• Freestanding Emergency Department experience a plus
