Job Details: 
Schedule:   Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
Location:   Kernersville, NC 27284
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (high possibility of extension or conversion)
Pay Range: $20-22/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform accurate and efficient phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures.
• Collect and handle urine specimens according to established procedures.
• Provide excellent and compassionate patient care throughout the collection process.
• Assist approximately 40 patients/draws per day while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Work primarily with a geriatric patient population .
• Maintain proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Ensure specimens are handled and processed according to established protocols.
• Follow all laboratory safety, infection-control, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy while working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Requirements: 

• Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience:  Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:  
• Experience with:
• Pediatric collections
• Geriatric collections
• Capillary collections
