Clinical Specialist, Enabling Technologies (Houston, TX)

What You’ll Do As the Clinical Specialist with Stryker Enabling Technologies you will provide clinical product support to hospital staff and give on‑site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures. You will train and support surgeons and operating room staff in the operation of the company’s navigation technologies, associated equipment and instruments to ensure procedural efficiency. You will use proprietary software to prepare pre‑operative scans for use with the company’s Enabling Technologies system, assist surgeons in pre‑operative planning and intra‑operative guidance, and provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per the requirements of the company’s quality system. You will provide case coverage at accounts, support the development and execution of the sales plan, and grow utilization of the navigation technologies by increasing volume with current and potential surgeons. You will actively sell the clinical benefits of the products, build strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts, collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase communication around product performance, obtain purchase orders for products consumed during surgical procedures, and maintain and track case coverage purchase orders for services provided. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years clinical experience Preferred Qualifications Sales and/or marketing experience Additional Information This position requires handling instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids. In compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, Stryker will provide a safe working environment for all employees. Possible off‑hours, weekends, or holidays may be required to support business needs. The role may involve exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. A valid driver’s license is required. Travel Travel percentage: 30% Location United States of America Compensation Pay ranges: USN: $59,900 - $83,300 USD annually; US5: $62,900 - $87,500 USD annually; US10: $65,900 - $91,600 USD annually; US15: $68,900 - $95,800 USD annually; US20: $71,900 - $100,000 USD annually; US30: $77,900 - $108,300 USD annually. Work Flexibility Field‑based: Majority to 100% of time at customer facilities with travel within a set boundary. Remote: Majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace.
