We are seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber for a project located at MCAS Cherry Point. This role involves the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems on a fixed schedule, adhering to safety standards and working collaboratively within a team. Candidates must be able to obtain clearance to work on military installations and will be compensated according to the Davis-Bacon wage determination.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial plumbing systems following blueprints and specifications
- Interpret and work from detailed construction blueprints
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards
- Conduct pressure testing to verify system integrity
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in commercial plumbing
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and pipefitting
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Strong understanding of safety compliance requirements
- Effective communication skills
