Job Title: Test Technician
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 10 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: North Haven, CT 06473
Shift: 1st Shift / 2nd Shift

Job Summary

• Perform testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and assembly support for medical device production equipment and systems
• Conduct routine tests, record results, and support quality verification activities
• Work with test equipment, tools, schematics, and technical documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment and conduct production testing
• Assemble units according to designs and specifications
• Perform system adjustments and calibrations
• Modify equipment using diagrams and work instructions
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and replace components as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments
• Record test data and maintain documentation
• Support quality inspections and process verification activities

Required Skills

• Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
• Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments
• Attention to detail and documentation skills
• Basic troubleshooting ability
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Manufacturing, assembly, or testing experience
• Exposure to laboratory or production environments
• Experience with electronic or mechanical components
• Quality inspection experience

Work Environment

• Medical device manufacturing environment
• Hands-on testing and assembly role
• Closely supervised entry-level technician position

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• No college degree required
• 0+ years of experience required
