The position will focus primarily on international matters with additional duties assigned as needed.Job Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with other staff members of the dōTERRA Legal Department including the General Counsel, corporate attorneys, and paralegalsReview and draft contracts with company distributors, vendors, and related partiesPrepare for execution corporate governance documents to maintain existing business entities and establish new entitiesAssist in drafting and reviewing internal policiesWork cross-functionally with other dōTERRA departments to implement recommended legal guidance throughout company business operationsAssist in litigation matters and contested regulatory matters.Represent the company and the Legal Department with professionalism and competenceOther work as assignedJob Qualifications:Juris Doctor degree from ABA accredited law schoolAdmission to the Utah State Bar or eligibility for admissionMinimum of three years’ experience as a practicing attorney post law schoolTeam-oriented, results-driven, and supportive of employer’s business objectivesDemonstrated ability to manage competing work priorities while completing assignments on timeWillingness to put in the time necessary to complete assignments with a focus on resultsWillingness to accept and implement constructive feedback on work deliverables and approachAbility to recommend options and solutions and guide colleagues in evaluating them, while allowing business units to make final decisionsStrong legal analysis skillsExcellent research and writing skillsExcellent oral communication skillsAbility to promote an inclusive and diverse work environmentDesirable Qualifications and Competencies:Law firm experience in litigation or transactional workExperience in the direct selling industryForeign language skillsBusiness acumendoTERRA International, LLC. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
