Job Posting: Facilities Management Coordinator Department of Consumer Affairs Job ID: JC-524608 Classification: ANALYST II Salary: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month Final Filing Date: 7/27/2026 Overview Under the direction of the Supervisor I in the Facilities Management Unit (FMU), the Analyst II independently performs space planning and facilities-related functions for the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). The position may require travel to field office locations throughout the state as needed. Working Conditions Applicants residing outside of the State of California may be admitted to the interview, but must reside within the state upon employment. The position is a hybrid role with a work location at the Office of Administrative Services. Minimum Requirements Classification: ANALYST II Required experience and education as detailed in the attached duty statement and Class Specification Responsibilities Plan and manage space usage and facilities-related tasks for DCA Coordinate and support space planning, room layout design, modular furniture installation and ordering, building codes, and facilities maintenance Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective facility operations and space utilization Travel to field office locations as needed to perform duties Desirable Qualifications Strong communication skills – written and oral Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, and ServiceNow Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and laws, and exercise initiative and flexibility Demonstrated problem‑solving, decision‑making, and critical‑thinking skills Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers Equal Employment Opportunity The State of California is an equal‑opportunity employer.
