Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Pacific River Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting video therapy sessions with clients who are pre-screened and deemed stable adults with low acuity.
  • Assessing and diagnosing a range of emotional and mental disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, and stress.
  • Developing customized treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
  • Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients develop coping strategies, improve decision-making skills, and achieve personal growth.
  • Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation in accordance with organizational standards, all while ensuring client confidentiality.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Hold one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Exhibit strong computer literacy skills to efficiently navigate our online platform and manage client interactions.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will bring experience in telehealth counseling or working in a remote environment, demonstrating proficiency in conducting therapy via video platforms. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from USD 52,000 to 70,000 annually, based on experience. Additionally, part-time counselors benefit from a monthly healthcare stipend, ensuring your well-being as you provide care to others.
