Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN First Assist for an Operating Room position requiring CNOR certification and a MA RN license in hand.

Details

• Work in the OR department of a 298-bed teaching hospital
• 8-bed unit size
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required by rotation
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of current OR First Assist experience required
• Active CNOR certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Skills checklist for Operating Room/First Assist current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
• Must have own vehicle

Additional Information

• Provide first assist support during surgical procedures in the OR
• Facility-provided scrubs
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted during the assignment, and all RTO requests must be submitted with the initial profile
