Job Title Credit Risk Advisor | Project Finance & Credit Evaluation Support (DOE0061061) – Senior Consultant II Job Overview Provide independent engineering advisory services for the DOE Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) Program, focusing on credit risk, lender protections, debt‑service viability, and project risk allocation. Responsibilities Conduct technical due diligence and credit evaluations for large‑scale energy infrastructure projects. Review project documentation, validate assumptions, and identify risks and mitigations. Prepare credit risk summaries, sensitivity analysis, covenant support, and financing recommendations. Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, HSE, and project controls stakeholders. Prepare defensible work products, including independent engineer reports for DOE, LPO, and lender stakeholders. Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory roles. Demonstrated work on oil & gas, power, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure projects for owners, lenders, independent engineers, or federal clients. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, accounting, business, or related field. MBA, CFA, PMP, CPA, or project finance credentials preferred. Required Skills Technical judgment, independence, analytical rigor, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and presentation of findings. Stakeholder coordination and clear communication of technical evidence to decision makers.
