About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Previous charge experience preferred Description: This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in the Emergency Department. Scheduled shifts are three 12-hour days with two weekend shifts or four weekend days every six weeks. Holidays may be required as needed. No call is required for this position. Candidates must have current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred. Candidates with previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience will be prioritized. The unit sees a variety of patient diagnoses, including stroke and cardiac cases. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services. The daily census includes approximately 180 visits. The unit is equipped to handle patients with various trauma types and emergency situations. Candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to employment. Travelers may be floated to different units as needed.
