Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. The position provides an opportunity to excel in a growing, high‑impact, customer‑focused role, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others. Essential Functions Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues. Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items. Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager. Support opening and closing activities as needed. Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they remain fully stocked and operational. Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth and career development. Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Physical: Stand for extended periods; lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting. Visual acuity sufficient for computer terminal use, reading, and inspection of small parts. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 29 Time Type Part time Pay Range $16.94 - $23.94 per hour, representing the base hourly rate. Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
