Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.Departments Utilizing GIG RNs:Emergency Department (ED)Medical-Surgical (MS)Labor & Delivery (WC)Qualifications:Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing programPreferred Education: BSNLicensure: Is responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current compact RN licenseExperience: One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg. For all other specialties (ED, L&D, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience.Certifications: For Med Surg, and Women's Health (L&D) - BLS. For Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, & PALS.
