Location: Richland, Mississippi, USA
Rate : 15-20/hr

Duration: 3 month contract (with potential extension)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to support day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This temporary role is covering a leave of absence and may lead to extension or full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including picking, packing, auditing, loading, replenishment, cycle counting, and receiving/put-away
• Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain certification
• Assist with inventory control and order processing
• Build crates and support basic assembly tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coordinators, and team members to resolve issues
• Report equipment, inventory, or process concerns promptly
• Meet productivity targets and follow established procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of material handling experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center
• Hands-on experience operating equipment such as:
  • Stand-up dock trucks
  • Order/stock pickers
  • Sit-down forklifts
  • Tugger, cart, or walkie rider equipment
• Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms)
• 2-3 years of direct operations experience in a warehouse setting
