Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Social worker Assistant :
- Previous Experience as a Social worker Assistant preferred
- Valid Social Worker License
- Two years experience working directly with geriatric clients in a health care setting, desirable
- MSW, CSW preferred
- Customer service, in-person and over the telephone
- Some knowledge of medical insurance, Medicare/Medicaid program benefits, desirable
- Discharge planning
- Computer literacy, able to fax, scan, email
- Experience in clinical patient conferences
