Job Description:


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will coordinate and participate in all CT scanning procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis. You will operate complex computerized equipment, prepare patients, administer contrast media intravenously, and maintain accurate documentation. This role requires a focus on patient safety, adherence to safety standards and protocols, and the ability to assist with emergency medical situations as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Properly position and transfer patients following safety standards
• Obtain patient identification and medical history, including allergies
• Prepare and inject contrast media intravenously as prescribed
• Make, develop, and archive images for patient records
• Coordinate with staff for scheduling and patient flow
• Maintain equipment calibration, perform quality control, and ensure proper repairs
• Manage electronic/digital image capture, storage, and transfer
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond appropriately
• Assist in emergency situations, including providing CPR when necessary
• Follow safety standards for patient and staff protection
• Keep the workspace clean and stocked with supplies
• Train new team members as needed
• Support Radiologists and physicians with specialized procedures
• Review patient history and clinical data to aid diagnosis
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Hourly Pay Rate: $58.29
