Hematologist-Oncologist Physician

Our client, a well-established academic-affiliated health network, is seeking a full-time Hematology / Oncology Physician to join their team in Monmouth County, NJ! The physician in this role will provide high-quality cancer and blood disorder care in a supportive, community-based outpatient setting with strong hospital backing.

The annual base salary range is $280,000 to $530,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient practice, with inpatient/hospital involvement as needed
• Oversee and coordinate care for infusion center patients
• Collaborate with a hospitalist team on inpatient evaluations, follow-up, and treatment coordination
• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff within the cancer center
• Participate in tumor board, cancer committee, and Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation activities
• Contribute to policies, staff education, and community outreach initiatives
• Provide telephone triage and support for urgent patient needs

Job Requirements

• MD from an accredited medical school
• Active (or eligible) New York medical license
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Strong communication skills and excellent bedside manner
• U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship available)
